Cancer survivorship is more than surveillance.
It is about helping women live well beyond cancer.
Our Mission
OncoMenopause™ is a permanent national education initiative of HERmedicine dedicated to advancing care at the intersection of cancer survivorship, menopause, and midlife women’s health.
The initiative is advanced through the OncoMenopause Consortium®, a national multidisciplinary professional community that provides free live evidence-based education, CME programming, case-based learning, clinical discussion, and professional collaboration.
Our mission is to improve the care of women affected by cancer by equipping clinicians with practical, rigorous education; building community across specialties; creating space for respectful dialogue about complex questions, evolving evidence, and divergent perspectives; and supporting survivHERS with trusted information, meaningful connection, and more individualized care.
Our Vision
We envision a future in which every woman affected by cancer has access to expert, individualized menopause and midlife healthcare as an essential part of long-term survivorship.
That care should be grounded in the best available evidence, informed by each woman’s cancer history, health risks, symptoms, goals, and personal values, and supported by clinicians who are prepared to collaborate across oncology, menopause medicine, primary care, gynecology, sexual health, survivorship care, and related disciplines.
We envision a connected community in which clinicians learn across specialties, uncertainty can be acknowledged, differing perspectives can be discussed openly and respectfully, and survivHERS have the trusted information and support they need to live well beyond cancer.
